Manchester Township measures 82.69 square miles and is located in the western portion of Ocean County.  Bordering municipalities include Lakehurst, Jackson, Plumsted Twp., Toms River and Lacey.  Numerous housing developments are in the township including multiple 55+ adult communities. 

There are a large variety of businesses located in Manchester including shopping, restaurants, doctor offices, drug stores, etc.  

Manchester Township School District has three elementary school (two are Pre-K-5 and one is K-5), one middle school (grades 6-8), and one high school (grades 9-12).  There are also many private preschool in the township.  

The Manchester Township Department of Recreation offers many activities including summer concerts, kids' sports, and much more.  There are also a few parks in the area.
